Selling crafts, especially the hand-made variety, is by no means an easy
task. Most people who fashion handiworks, such as jewelry, woodwork, ceramics, even crocheted items and quilts, usually turn
to the internet to find an outlet for sales. It would be nice if all artisans could make such a convincing case that we could
make a living from a hobby that we hold dear.
For most of us, though, that will simply not be the case. However, our crafts will
prove to be a viable source of income at times. I hope that, in the near future, I will be able to secure enough money to
open a store or a mail-order business. I am currently a struggling college student (and anyone who's been through this knows
how it is), not looking for a handout but a lover of art who finds herself strapped for cash. Out of the fusion of those two
forces, this website--although rudimentary--was born.
On my limited salary I can't afford a ton of materials at this point, but am gradually
working to fulfill customer desires--soon, there will be items with gemstone material, sterling silver, karat gold and other
much sought-after elements. If these first items manage to move, perhaps this endeavor will be possible sooner rather than
later.
Look through the catalog pages and don't hesitate to tell me what you think.
The clarity of these pictures isn't as good as I would've liked; however, some of
the items will have detail shots included. Happy browsing!
